Located in the south-west of Mekong Delta, from Kep Town about 35km. This town is belong to Kien Giang Province, has the border line 13,7km with Cambodia. It only has 4 districts: Binh San, Dong Ho, Phao Dai, To Chau. It attracts tourist because of its beauties such as bay, delta, river, mountain, cave, island, etc..

In 17 century, Mac Cuu led a small group of chinese people, they built the market, harbour and settlement seem to have existed at the site of the present town where vietnamese called Mang-Kham.

“Ha Tien” is on Giang Thanh river, khmer called it by “Ta Teng” name which means Ta = River and Teng is a personal name. It understands as a river was built and led by  Teng.

Phu Dung is a name of group mountains near Cambodia border, Phu means mountain and Dung vietnamized from cambodian “YOUN” means “vietnamese”. We finally know as these mountains were belong to vietnamese.

Kep, Cambodia

Beach City of Kep is the most popular tourst destinations in Cambodia. It’s located at the border gate of Xa Xia about 35km, it has many rice fields along the way between two towns (Kep & Ha Tien, Vietnam). There, you can explore the numerous ancient villas were built since the time of Pol Pot, and french architecture houses, combine with the natural landscape create a mysterious paintings of Kep.

Kep was established in 1908 under french colonist, many resorts was built in 1960s and has been destroyed under the Khmer Rouge. Kep’s beach is very clean, no garbage, beautiful pristine, fanciful and quiet space. Many delicious seafoods will be encouraged by tourist along the beach restaurants.
