Detail Itinerary
1st day: Saigon (Ho Chi Minh) Arrival (-/-/D).
Welcome to Saigon ! On arrival, we will pick you up and take you straight to bike’s house for bike fitting and briefing on some techniques of biking to make sure that your bike is in good condition for a long journey of cycling to the best coastal scenery of Vietnam 9 days. Enjoy the welcome Vietnamese dinner with your first impression in Vietnam.
2nd day: Cycling from Saigon to Da Lat (B/L/D).
After breakfast, shuttle to north-west of Saigon to junction of Trang Bom, where we bike for 30km into the region of coffee, cashew, pepper with numerous death volcanoes. We end our bike ride in Gia Kiem and take van past La Nga Lake, Bao Loc hill, Di Linh with many tea plantations. Check-in hotel & dinner at Pho Nui restaurant in Da Lat City.
3rd day: Cycling from Da Lat to Nha Trang (B/L/D).
Enjoy the entire morning in DaLat with biking from the hotel to Xuan Huong Lake, and stunning Valley of Love, visit the Crazy House. Then, transfer by van to the summit of Hon Giao pass where we will have picnic lunch. Afernoon, continue to roll down hill to Khanh Vinh and onto Ben Loi stream for coffee break after some great views, descending from 2000 metres above sea level to the Beach city of Nha Trang. We finally head to hotel for overnight. This real spectacular day will be done at 100km on bike, but also subject to your group biking ability.
4th day: Cycling from Nha Trang to Quy Nhon (B/L/D).
Start cycling from the hotel after breakfast, to visit Ponagar Cham Tower. continue to bike up the hillside of Van Phong Bay where it is known as the military & economy strategies. “Vietnam By Bike” will stop at Ninh Hoa and shuttle to Co Ma Pass to make a nice challenge with its panorama views of mountain surrouding. Lunch in Dai Lanh on a nice swimming beach and head to Quang Ngai for the night stay.
Note: This day would be nicer if you depart early in the morning and our team can tailor you a longer biking route instead of about 50km.
5th day: Cycling from Quy Nhon to Quang Ngai (B/L/D).
From hotel enjoy your riding along the beach & onto a beautiful bridge of Thi Nai Swampfor a couple photos and any challenges along the way – you will have more opportunities to see local daily life while they are working on their sea-fish farms. We cycle up on sand-hill paths, rice paddies, and enjoy the cooling of sea atmosphere. Check-in Quang Ngai‘s hotel.
6th day: Cycling from Quang Ngai to Hoi An Ancient Town (B/L/D).
Collect your bike after breakfast at the hotel to warm your legs up at K9 of the My Lai Massacre, a famous site of American war on 16 March 1968. Afterward, we will carry on along the beach through Son My village, My Khe beach. Lunch will be served at a very Vietnamese restaurant en route and siesta at coffee-shop. Our afternoon ride is likely on amazing roads with nummerous rice paddies in middle of mountains, fishing villages, sand dunes until we reach Chau O Market on Highway 1. Team of Vietnam By Bike kidnap your group and head to Hoi An for a tasting night at delicious restaurant in this ancient town.
7th day: Walking in Hoi An Ancient Town & Cycling Hoi An surrounding (B/L/D).
Admiring the antique of Hoi An Ancient Town, we guide you around this beautiful area on foot at Silkworm house of Yaly, and Hoi An Market, Japanese Covered Bridge, Chinese Pagoda, Vietnamese traditional binggo game (called Bài Chòi), Museum of Art or Ceramic or Instrument, Tan Ky old house and enjoy the local specialties.
In the afternoon, we cycle to the old town again but to the streets we couldn’t explore on foot. Then, ride further to Hoi An Beach, to Tra Que organic vegetable village, stunning over the rice fields & water coconut palm trees. We end our ride back at hotel. A free and easy second night with your own impression in Hoi An.
Important Note: Just in case you wish to extend your stay in this beautiful town of Hoi An longer or experience some popular activities such as cooking class, cycling to My Son ruin, snorkeling, even taking your entire day at leisure at hotel, please let us know before booking, so that we can plan it ahead to save you some budget from last minute changes.
8th day: Cycling from Hoi An to Hue Citadel (B/L/D).
In the morning, we start cycling from the hotel toward the Marble Mountains (Ngu Hanh Son) village where you can find artisans at work with unique sculptures made of sandstone & marble. Continue along the best coastal scenery of central Vietnam to ride up to Hai Van Quan legendary pass. We will have lunch at the bottom point at Lang Co resort. Further our bike ride right there – one of the top 20 most beautiful beaches in the world past Lang Co Lagoon, Chan May Port, Cau Hai Lagoon and villages with many family graveyards so-called “Hell City”. Overnight in Hue city.
9th day: Hue Departure (B/-/-).
Depending on your departure flight, “Vietnam By Bike” escorts your group to the airport for your own next destination.

This is a cycling tour for all kind of travellers, from amateur to professional cyclist. Vietnam By Bike team will tailor you a route that suits your ability. Although it will be operated all year round, you still need to know what to bring with you:
