DAY 1: SAIGON/HCMC - TRA VINH
Shuttle from Saigon to TanAn where we fit our bikes and start our exploration of the second biggest dragon fruits in Vietnam. The highlights of the biking routes are friendly farmers shooting “hello” to you, through a village known for vermicelli in My Tho and the splendid pagoda. On arrival at the dock, take a private boat to the Mekong Riverside restaurant for lunch. Then, hop on a bike to continue cycling onto the Quê Dừa (Coconut Homeland) in which you will learn more about how locals make the best use of coconut into a variety of products. Afterwards, we ride under a shady path to Ben Tre and onto Ham Luong (if time permits). Overnight in Tra Vinh Khmer Town.

DAY 2: TRA VINH - CAN THO
Tra Vinh is a small town and it is not a tourist destination for tourists traveling by bus/car. So it is really quiet at night. After 8:30 pm everything seems to be closed, sleep mostly. Tra Vinh province is considered the homeland of Khmer and there are numerous Khmer temples in the province. A full day cycling of today is a chance you are not only learning cultures but also cycling on deeply to traditional villages of Khmer, stop and visit some thatch houses, experience the ways of living and visit some colorful temples on our way cycling to through Tieu Can to Cau Ke. After we have lunch in town, a fantastic bicycling begins after just half an hour transfer by van/bus to Vinh Xuan. We continue to explore beautiful countryside villages by cycling along canals, riverside fruit orchards and through rice paddy fields. We end up cycling and get on your van/bus to Can Tho to check in at the hotel.

DAY 3: CAN THO - CAO LANH
In the early morning, you cruise downstream of Can Tho River for the Floating Market, you will see the typical highlight of the Legend of Mekong River. This first sight today is a busy floating market in Can Tho and pedal to the second sight is an ancient house of Huynh Thuy Le. Who was in love with Marguerite Duras then the story became a movie. After we watched the floating market of Cai Rang, a short drive taking us to Can Tho bridge to start biking. From Binh Minh to Sadec town, we bike on country back roads, through sweet potatoes, a family workshop making rice powder, brick factories and pedaling along canals busy with many boats which come to pick the flowers in the hundred gardens over here. Our delicious lunch is served at L'amant House and we have a rest before we ride to Cao Lanh city. We pedal through more villages of flowers in the countryside of Sadec and many small villages through mango orchards, rivers. Overnight at a 3 star hotel in Cao Lanh City.

DAY 4: CAO LANH - CHAU DOC
Get ready for exploring beautiful countryside in Typical Mekong Highlight by bicycle through the world of the mango orchards in small villages and pass local market, smooth concrete track along Mekong Riverside before a local ferry boat taking you to Binh Phuoc Xuan Island. Spending your pleasure time pedaling to and stopping at Monastery, which was built 120 years ago by the French. This is the first Monastery building site in Indochina (built in 1874). Spending 30 minutes to walk around admire the colonial building style in the Church Yard. Taste any sweet mango & have lunch in My Luong, we then start pedaling to Cho Moi, experience local life along country back roads; see duck raising on rice paddy fields, fish farming by rivers and rice harvesting. Passing Muslim villages, stilt house and vegetable paddy fields. Take a short transfer to Chau Doc overnight at a 3 star hotel.

DAY 5: CHAU DOC (VIETNAM) - PHNOM PENH (CAMBODIA)
In the morning biking stage, you can feel a big difference between 2 neighbouring countries, we ride 40km upstream the Mekong River to Long Binh Town and ready to leave Vietnam for checking in Chrey Thom in Cambodia. Another fleet of bikes and new driver await you after customs.
Afternoon, cycle to visit Angkor Borei to get to know this amazing Therevada Buddhism country with your first impression. Continue through the distant villages with typical stilt-houses, vegetable farms, monks around their charming pagodas. Stay in Capital of Phnom Penh.
Important Note: for those who have no Cambodia Visa, you would need to prepare 02 photos (4 x 6 cm), passport, 35 USD to apply for a quick Cambodia visa on arrival at Immigration Dept at the international border gate.
DAY 6: PHNOM PENH
Just cross Tonlé Sap by ferry, the huge beautiful countryside will be opened for your challenge. We tailor your 30km ride over the silk-worm village, including a visit to a local farm and taste tropical fruits. This is a good opportunity for you to purchase some nice little presents for family and friends back home.
Afternoon, we get out of bustling Phnom Penh to take a motorized boat about 2 hours on Tonle Sap River, that provides you with picturesque view of Royal Palace, Skyline of Phnom Penh. Leisurely enjoy your relaxing sunset until our team picks you up for dinner & discover one more night by your own way.
DAY 7: PHNOM PENH - SIEM REAP
Following your breakfast at hotel, you will have a long transfer to villages of Kampong Thom for a before noon riding. Explore local life on dirt track, through villages, charming temples where you may see the interested traditional wedding of local people with many stops at with locals and their temples. After lunch, we get on vehicle go ahead to Siem Reap and arrive there in late afternoon.
DAY 8: SIEM REAP & GRAND ANGKOR WAT CYCLING
In 1992, Angkor Wat became a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which surrounded by a lush jungle awaits us a unique temple architecture that deeply impressed you both with their incredible size and extent, but also with its intricate stone carving details. “Vietnam By Bike” will take you ride to the main facilities and visit Angkor Thom, Bayon and Angkor Wat and the Srah Srang, the “pool” of the king with mystical Ta Prohm, half sunken in green jungle and overgrown with huge trees. Our team will show you their great experience through the forest trails, around the ruined temples and get to know in deep about the grand Khmer civilization.
DAY 9: SIEM REAP & BANTEY SREI IN SIEM REAP
In the morning, we take you back to the Angkor complex area for cycling to Bantay Srey was built by female artists – a remote temple is belonged to Angkor Grand. Biking 35km pass the jungle and villages will be stared into your face. You might see how people make sugar and local wine from “tnoat” – a kind of Khmer sugar palm tree. Cycling trip from Saigon to Angkor Wat 10 days will end with the lunch at the long house of “Bong Thom” in the middle of the organic rice farm and return to the hotel’s swimming pool or exlore the local market. A farewell dinner will be hosted at one of the finest local restaurant in Siem Riep.
DAY 10: SIEM REAP - CAMBODIA DEPARTURE

For less than 5 day tour to secure the service, we require deposit 100 USD/person & for Longer 5 days Tours to guarantee your place we require a 500 USD deposit, whichever is the greater. We also require that you take out travel insurance when you book your holiday. Besides covering you during your holiday it will also enable you to claim for any money that you have paid to us, including your deposit, should you have to cancel your trip.
Deposit must be paid 15 days before the departure date with fees for any bicycle rental(s), single supplement(s) and extra hotel nights. Our confirmation will include personal details you provided us (including your flight information), visa application advice, a packing suggestion list and a detailed tour itinerary. It will also include a checklist to ensure you get everything ready for your holiday.
On the rare occasions when we, VietnamByBike, must cancel a trip, all payments received to date will be 100% refunded, which constitutes full settlement. There will be absolutely no deductions. If you, the client, must cancel your reservation, your cancellation fee will be determined according to when you cancel. For full details, please read our cancellation policy.

If this is your fourth scheduled tour or more you will receive a 5% discount. If this is your eighth scheduled tour or more we will extend a 10% discount. The discount will be reflected in your online booking, but please contact us if any questions. Loyalty discounts can not be used in conjunction with any other offer. Note: Only tours of 5 days or more will be applicable for loyalty discount.
International flights, to and from the start and finish points are not included in the tour price. Once your tour is Guaranteed to Depart you can book your flight. Please contact us for advice before arranging flights for the best arrival and departure times. We would only cancel a trip for an extreme circumstance, but in that case, where we cancel your trip, we cannot be liable for losses incurred relating to any flight booking you have made. Please claim any losses from your travel insurance that you acquired when you booked your holiday.
