Hopping on a bike, escaping the hustle to join us for a photogenic cycling tour exploring the tranquil and idyllic countryside. Avoid plowing through chaotic city streets, passing the rice paddy and lotus fields to experience monkey bridge, to see water buffalos and ducks in harvest season before fresh country air fills your lungs.

7:00AM or 2:30PM Our tour guide will welcome and pick you up at the bike store of Vietnam By Bike Travel. All bicycles are well prepared upon departure.

First stop, walk on the small road between the rice paddy and lotus field to take photos, to learn about the technique of growing rice and lotus. First lotus field for lotus root only.

Experiences with monkey bridge to know how difficult the locals bring rice, hay home after harvest. Keep cycling along the winding village road to the large rice field, stop for fresh air and photos. On this way guests can see some interesting: water buffaloes, duck farm, mango gardens, papaya garden, lotus root or rice harvesting … according to the seasons.

Last stop, we stop at the large lotus pond for flowers to hear about some local products made from lotus flower, lotus leaf, root… to enjoy the panorama view from the far root of Sam mountain, one of the most famous mountains in Vietnam. Right at this place, in the season of vegetable growing, guests will see locals harvest cucumber, bitter melon, gourds…

End of the tour, guests will stop at a local coffee shop to enjoy local coffee or hot lotus tea, a product from lotus in the region. This tour will finish around 09:30AM or 5:00PM, guide will say good bye to the guests and leave the bikes back to our bike storehouse.

✨  DAY 1: CHAU DOC - CAN THO (L, D & Cycling 45 km+)

Welcome to CYCLING CHAU DOC TO SAIGON 2 DAYS at your hotel, our guide will brief you about our top interests along the ride with our strong in the beautiful backroads, off-roads, single paths and the collected highlights had been researched for many years before. 

We firstly transfer you to the rural village of Chau Doc, then explore immense rice fields and villages along the border to Tra Su cajuput forest. Home of a wide variety of flora including lotus, water lilies...Tra Su forest has been known as a bird sanctuary and famous for its diverse wildlife. You'll have a leisurely sampan rowing boat and motorized boat riding through the forest. After the boat ride, the ride'll continue bicycling on gentle hilly country roads to Ba Chuc village, visit its memorial before lunch in town in Tri Ton. In the afternoon, our biking guide will lead you the way riding through new farming lands which local settlers have been here since the Vietnam War in 1978. We will ride through a huge man-made canal with water trucks moving as the main means of transport in the Mekong Delta. You will ride more if time permits in the loops from Phong Dien to Cai Rang in Can Tho. Overnight in Can Tho! 

✨  DAY 2: CAN THO - SAIGON (B, L & Cycling 45 km+)

Embark a motorized boat trip to CaiRang Floating Market, a bustling one on the river of CanTho. Explore numerous rural canals before getting back on our steel-horse (bicycle) from DongThanh all the way to TamBinh. Your lunch will be served at one of the most hospitable farmer’s homes where you can have a quick shower before a 3-hour ride in a van to bring you back to Saigon around 5pm.
