Cycling Vietnam Coast: Saigon - Hoi An 6Days

Ready to meet our team (driver & guide) for your fabulous day to Mui Ne at 7h30 AM. You’re transferred to Long Thanh where your first day ride starts. On arrival, your guide will give you a bike briefing including advice on local biking pattern, biking safety, general info of real countryside and its back roads and distance before you bike. You will pedal on gentle routes, ride pass cashew, corn fields, and vegetable garden along authentic villages before you to ride on dirt track through rice paddy. To avoid getting heat on coastal road after lunch, you will have a transfer to La Gi for the afternoon ride when the temperature already drops down. We continue to ride on backroads of coastline and paths through dragon plantation and villages. Stay in a beach resort in Mui Ne.

We will leave Phan Thiet early morning for a long ride today. It’s about 35km in the morning before lunch and we ride on shady country backroads with gentle hills to Bau Trang. This is a nice place for bathroom break and for those who love to have something funs on sandboarding on white sandunes before the ride continues to Phan Ri. After lunch in small town of Phan Ri, we ride on beautiful coastal backroads with shady pine trees, passing fish source factories, dry fish family workshops, stopping at stunning local beach before we ride through Tuy Phong Dist. We pause our ride and get on van/bus for a transfer on highway to Ca Na beach where we veer off to coastal backroads to continue our late afternoon’s ride from the hilltop, rolling downhills through mountains. Transfer to hotel in Ninh Chu for the night.

Today’s morning ride will start from the hotel. In the morning, on the coastal roads, we ride pass salt fields and villages considered as the homeland of grapes in Vietnam. The ride leads you into meeting with farmers on salt farms for interaction, meeting with locals to learn how to make wine from grape. Then we enjoy cycling through Nui Chua forest for breaktaking views on ocean backroads to Cam Ranh where we enjoy our delicuious lunch.

In the afternoon, we ride deeply into rural areas that grow mango fruits before we pedal on quiet backroads to Nha Trang.

The distance between Nha Trang and Quy Nhon, our next destination, is quite far. We therefore do not have enough time to ride all the ways. Our biking guide will craft you the best distance that match your riding capacity today. Check out the hotel at 7:00 am, then relax on vehicles for an hour to Van Gia town ship where you start biking on backroads through local hamlets and fishing villages. You ride past schools, local markets before you bike on trails to Co Ma Pass. Your lunch will be served at local restaurant by the beach. Another transfer by van to Tuy Hoa countryside for lunch. Naptime after lunch ! Then you can pace yourself on your bicycle riding past sweet potato, tapioca fields, rice paddy and fishing villages. Depending on your cycling ability and time, our guide would tailor you a short route or long routes so as to be at the hotel before dark.

In the morning, we will have a 30 minutes transfer by vehicle to backroads by the lake near fishing village as to avoid heavily traffic in town. Ride on small concrete country roads by the lake to Cat Tien. Then we continue cycling on coastal roads to De Ghi. In the afternoon, we ride past shrimp farms along coastal roads, and travel the homeland of coconut in Tam Quan before an hour and half shuttle to Quang Ngai city.

We check out the hotel and drive My Lai memorial, where our team will set up and double check all bikes while you are visiting the site. Afterwards, just jump back to bikes to explore villages of My Lai before we reach to Sa Ky, then Chau O. Transfer to Tam Ky town for lunch. The highlight of today is unique routes in the afternoon. Explore traditional villages, see water buffaloes working on rice paddies, past lovely monkey bridges and wooden boatyards. Transfer to HoiAn and check in hotel on arrival. Today’s hotel is not included. End of services !
