Leave the urban delta behind as you transfer into the rugged heart of Northeast Vietnam. Today’s cycling journey brings you to the mountainous district of Bach Thong, offering a true off-the-beaten-path ride. Busy main roads give way to winding countryside paths used primarily by local Tay and Nung communities. Soak in the serene atmosphere as you pedal past rolling green hills, banana plantations, and lush rice paddies. Overnight in Bach Thong.

Prepare for a day filled with breathtaking landscapes as you take the coach over Ma Phuc Pass, famous for its seven steep bends and sweeping valley views. Arriving in Trung Khanh district-renowned for its lush chestnut forests-start your ride deep into the UNESCO Global Geopark toward the majestic Ban Gioc Waterfalls, the largest waterfall in Southeast Asia. After lunch near the cascading falls, continue cycling along the turquoise Quay Son River along the border region before entering the stunning Phong Nam Valley, where sharp limestone peaks rise above brilliant green rice paddies. Your final cycling leg begins with a transfer to Binh Gia in Lang Son province, featuring a blend of upland roads and fertile valleys.
