Cycling Holiday: Saigon to Bangkok 14 days

At 3:00 pm today, we will transfer you to our bicycle store on the outskirts of Saigon. There, you will be fitted with a bicycle and get ready for an unforgettable night on the Saigon River Cruise, followed by dinner at a restaurant with a stunning panoramic view. Afterward, you can freely explore the vibrant nightlife of Saigon!

Embark on a shuttle ride from Saigon to Long An for an exciting cycling adventure through the Mekong River Delta. This picturesque region is renowned for its vast dragon fruit plantations, which we will explore on our bike ride. Our route will take us through charming farming communities and rural villages, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the local culture. Our destination is My Tho, where we will visit the magnificent Vinh Trang Village pagoda. From there, we will board a private boat and cruise along the second branch of the Mekong River to a riverside restaurant, where a delightful lunch awaits.

In the afternoon, we will resume our cycling tour, traversing the idyllic coconut homeland and taking in the breathtaking views from our mountain bikes. Our next stop is the Hương Dừa workshop (coconut farmer's homeland), where we can gain insights into the various coconut products crafted by the talented locals. We will spend the night at the Ben Tre Riverside Resort (or a similar standard accommodation), which offers a refreshing riverside pool for a leisurely swim. A sumptuous dinner will also be provided.

Ben Tre, a quaint town, is not often frequented by tourists. As a result, the town tends to be remarkably quiet at night, with most establishments closing by 8:30 pm. It almost feels like the town is asleep. However, Ben Tre province is renowned for its magnificent coconut plantations, and our riverside resort offers a serene and picturesque riverside experience.

Today's full-day cycling expedition presents a unique opportunity to fully immerse yourself in the local culture and venture deep into traditional Khmer villages. Along our journey, we will make stops to visit delightful thatched houses, experience the local way of life, and marvel at the colorful temples as we pedal through Tieu Can to Cau Ke hemlets.

After relishing a delectable lunch in town, we will embark on a thrilling cycling escapade just half an hour away in Vinh Xuan, continuing on towards Tra On. As we explore the captivating countryside, we will ride alongside serene canals, majestic rivers, lush fruit orchards, and expansive rice paddy fields. Our cycling adventure will conclude with a transfer by van or bus to Can Tho, where we will check in to our 4 star hotel.

In the morning, our boat trip will commence, taking us to the largest floating market in the Mekong Delta. It is here that we will observe traders and farmers engaging in the trade of seasonal fruits, providing a captivating cultural and visual experience in the Delta. Following this, we will embark on a cycling journey along peaceful village paths that run parallel to the intricate canal system of the Mekong River.

For lunch, we will be dining at a crocodile farm located in Long Xuyen city. After our meal, our driver will transport us to an untouched hamlet, where we will enjoy a cycling tour through the Cajuput forest in Tra Su. Additionally, we will have the opportunity to embark on a boat trip to admire the enchanting sights of Tra Su. Finally, we will check-in at our hotel in Chau Doc, where we will have dinner. You will also be given some free time to explore Chau Doc at night.

Embark on a delightful speedboat journey from Chau Doc to Phnom Penh along the stunning Mekong River. Witness the breathtaking scenery as your adventure begins in the early morning, right after enjoying a delicious breakfast at your hotel. A short 15-minute transfer will take you to the Chau Doc Pier, where the boat departs promptly at 7:30 AM.

During this journey, you will have the opportunity to enjoy various highlights, including a visit to a fishing village and observing fishing boats in action. Marvel at the unique stilt-houses and fish farms along the riverbank. Take in the magnificent Scenic Views of the Mekong River and delve into the everyday Riverside Life. Throughout the journey, there will be ample opportunities for Relaxation and Refreshments.

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, you will be transferred to the ferry located on the left bank of Tonle Sap. From there, you will embark on a cycling adventure across the beautiful Silk Island, where you can visit a silk farm and explore its vibrant village. Afterward, you will cross another ferry to continue cycling along a dirt track that leads to Kodach. This area is home to impressive pagodas with a Theraveda architectural style.

Following a delicious lunch, we will embark on a long drive to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, you will check in at a luxurious 5-star hotel and enjoy a well-served dinner. Afterward, you will have the opportunity to freely explore the enchanting Siem Reap by night.

Angkor Wat became a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which is surrounded by a lush jungle and awaits us a unique temple architecture that deeply impressed you both with their incredible size and extent, but also with its intricate stone carving details. You will take you to the main facilities and visit Angkor Thom, Bayon and Angkor Wat and the Srah Srang, the “pool” of the king with mystical Ta Prohm, half sunken in green jungle and overgrown with huge trees. Our team will show you their great experience through the forest trails, around the ruined temples and get to know in-depth about the grand Khmer civilization.

In the morning, we take you back to the Angkor complex area for cycling to Banteay Srey was built by female artists – a remote temple is belonged to Angkor Grand. Biking 35km pass the jungle and villages will be stared into your face. You might see how people make sugar and local wine from “tnoat” – a kind of Khmer sugar palm tree. Having the lunch at the long house of “Bong Thom” in the middle of the organic rice farm and return to the hotel’s swimming pool or exlore the local market. A well dinner will be hosted at one of the finest local restaurant in Siem Riep and free explore !

Experiencing the paved and dirt roads today along the way to Pailin Town, you will ride through with the special atmosphere and then enjoy rolling hills. Enjoy a local lunch at the town of Phnom Sampou. In the afternoon, you continue riding and visit the top highlights in Battambang with its famous peculiarities. Check-in & relax in Battambang!

Enjoy the breakfast in the hotel, you then fill the water with briefing the biking road's from Battambang to Pailin details and pedal to be warmed up about 20km with any short stop for sight-seeing at the hilltop pagoda and cave, you then ready for the bigger challenge of Cadarmon Mountain Rage with the great panorama of rice fields, corn, any handicraft houses and the cute kids rise their hands to shoot hello to you the whole way to Pailin for overnight.

Following your morning breakfast is ready to cross the Cambodia - Thailand International Border for Chanthaburi Destination with a short 35km biking loop under the lush canopy to enjoy the first impressive Thailand. Overnight in Chanthaburi with welcome dinner.

A well served buffet breakfast at the hotel, you immediately pedal deep into this "City Of The Moon" in Chanthaburi which is a beautiful feature of architecture and culture and any morning time for relaxation combined with cycling along the beach and seafood lunch at the charming beach for swimming.

Afterward, you then transfer out of Chanthaburi to north-west for your main day biking loop of 50km and having a stopover at the Mangrove Forest Center which will be a well organized Thailand Tourism so far. You will be picked for a short drive to Pattaya for dinner & overnight.

Experiencing the coastline by cycling 35km in the backroads of Pattaya. Here, you will enjoy the colorful flowers in the rural village and visit the Khao She Chan temple that is one of the most famous constructions in Pattaya and We may meet the famous Muay Thai boxer. Taste local foods at lunch and checkout after a short shower for Bangkok transfer. Overnight in Bangkok capital. 

In this special evening, you will explore the Bangkok nightlife by tuktuk with the happy ending at our farewell dinner on Chao Praya riverside restaurant. Overnight in Bangkok.
